In Germany, there are more than 1900 hospitals. But there are only 38 (<2%) university hospitals. Some universities have more than one hospital which all function as one big university hospital. For example:
Medizinischer Campus Universitรคt Oldenburg has four hospitals:
1. Evangelisches Krankenhaus Oldenburg
2. Karl-Jaspers-Klinik Bad Zwischenahn
3. Klinikum Oldenburg (12 universitรคtsmedizinische Fachabteilungen)
4. Pius-Hospital Oldenburg (6 universitรคtsmedizinische Fachabteilungen)
