A placement test is a language test that tries to predict the language level of the test takers (e. g. A1, A2 or maybe C1).
The following tests from different providers are for free:
โข Goethe institute (what is this?): The most reliable and famous instiute for learning the German langauge. Link.
โข Deutsche Welle (DW): Only for the levels A1 to B1. Link.
โข Test from a German language publisher (๐ฉ๐ช der Verlag): For the levels A1 to C1. Link
