• Introduction
One of the methods to be accepted to apply for a permanent medical license (🇩🇪 die Approbation) in certain German states is having a job promise (🇩🇪 eine Einstellungszusage) in a hospital or clinic in that state. This means that the hospital gives you a document which mentions that they are going to hire you when you get a medical license and that they wish that the medical license authority accept your application for the medical license.

You simply need to apply for a job. BUT: You should write clearly in your application what your plans are. Simply write something like the following:
Ich möchte hospitieren, bis ich die Berufserlaubnis erhalten habe. Danach bereite ich mich auf die Approbation vor und ich würde gerne währenddessen bei Ihnen arbeiten, bis ich die Approbation erhalten habe. Danach natürlich möchte ich meine Facharztausbildung unter Ihrer Leitung zu Ende absolvieren.

If a hospital accepted to give you a job promise, it might look like this:
Herr XY hat sich bei uns beworben und wir haben Interesse an seiner Mitarbeit. Wir sind sehr interessiert daran, dass ser die DEUTSCHE APPROBATION beantragt und bitten hiermit, ihn und uns dabei zu unterstützen.
